An Opera for 4 SATB Soloists, Choir and Orchestra
Dragon’s Tale is the story of a young Chinese/Canadian woman who must travel into the ancient past to
answer questions about her own life and future in the modern world. By summoning the spirit of one of
China’s greatest poets (Qu Yuan) she learns the significance of the ancient dragon boat festival of
Duanwu and her family’s deep connection with Qu Yuan.
